About GATA
For over 10 years, the Georgia Tutoring Association (GATA) has provided a means for post-secondary learning assistance professionals throughout the state of Georgia to network and share information, ideas, and best practices. GATA membership is open to all staff, students and faculty members involved in learning assistance at public and private two- and four-year colleges and technical colleges. Membership is granted through attendance at the organization's annual conference.

Our premiere event each year is the GATA Annual Conference which draws learning assistance professionals from across the state to present and learn about the tutoring craft in a casual, relaxed, and friendly professional development opportunity. Learning center administrators, student tutors, and faculty members are encouraged to present new developments and best practices from their campuses to the attendees. Our conferences have always been very informative and a great chance to network with other learning center professionals.

Beginning with our 2010 Annual Conference, we are allowing corporate sponsorships and inviting corporate entities to present their learning assistance related products to the attendees. If you are interested in attanding the next annual conference, please contact one of the organization's officers listed on our "Contact" page.
